Elite Cricket Performance Academy

The coaches built an immediate rapport with my son. He was learning power hitting and then worked on his spin bowling. The energy they have in sessions - it is amazing to see it last for 8–10 hours throughout the day!

The gadgets and the fact that no session has been the same for 4 years is just amazing! There is so much depth to each shot. My child now commentates on games and talks about things I never even noticed. This is an amazing educational experience for parents and a player.

My child has improved his confidence not just in his game but within his teams. He was once a shy person who rarely said anything. ECPA and their approach of challenging players to think has made him say what he thinks and explain why. They run tests for the players and explain the processes. Other coaches just tell you to do it and get on with it, whereas here they work with the player to get them where they need to be.

My child was a player I would constantly tell what to do. After meeting the ECPA coaches they not only taught me how to be more supportive of my son, but he went from an average club spinner to a County level spinner who is playing with power and invention, scoring 60 in 30 balls against the coaches club. The positive attitude the coaches bring to the players in sessions and games is amazing and such a contrast to other coaches or academies. Their knowledge is very impressive too! Our very first session saw them playing switch hits - I couldn’t believe what I was watching but it was so empowering.  There is always a method to what can look like madness.

When your child is waking up and is happy to do a 2 hour drive to get to training and give it 100%, you know they have found the right coach. The detail, the sharing of knowledge with players so that they understand everything is just amazing. They told us their job is to make themselves redundant and with the amount of new ideas they have I doubt that would be possible. I would recommend joining their academy to anyone.

The level of support my child has received is unbelievable. If we have questions we Whatsapp and send videos and you get replies. They aren’t your typical money coaches. They genuinely care to see your child excel and mine is not playing county cricket. The depth of knowledge for batting, bowling and fielding is amazing and they break everything down and rebuild it.

We came to an assessment and had bat speeds, bowling speeds measured and hitting contest etc. After this, we were given feedback and it was interesting to see that they chat to us and the player, to decide who they take on courses. Most coaches just take us on and we did not get much personal touch but this team are only interested in seeing their players improve and supporting their growth. It’s a wonderful environment and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
